Our Mission Statement
The Mandate of MSPC is
modest. Our mission is
nothing less than
Worlds Slow Pitch
Domination and the creation of world
peace through the use
of SLOW PITCH veiled as a senior diplomatic force.
Our Objective
1.) The full and complete subjugation of opposing senior slow
pitch players & teams through the use of "Goons" to exert
brutal force with high-tech softball bats
and an awesome array of defensive balls being launched
with HooterARMS. The "Goons" being
considered a necessary evil for instilling the appropriate level
of fear and terror in the ranks of opposing teams. (The fear
& terror considered
necessary discomforts.)
2.) Domination of the game
of senior slow pitch
at all senior levels but beginning modestly
by dominating the
fifty-year-old level, the fifty-five year-old level and
finally the 60-year old level.
throughout the world and
subsequent teams soon to be dissected and conquered
under the Marauder Worlds Slow Pitch Domination program.
Our Reasoning
Marauders, as the sole team in possession of the necessary
level of civilization required for world leadership, is the
future cradle of senior slow pitch humanity. As tyrants, assistant
Generals Campbell, Moore, Docksteader
& Klassen
are only providing
a service to mankind as they attempt to dominate the world
(err...Worlds) using methods of co-operation, negotiation,
diplomacy, and tact. We, of course, will also be employing chemical
weapons, as a sort of 'extra incentive' for the persuasion of
those teams who would, incredibly, not be swayed by the
absolute logic and rationality of Marauder World Slow Pitch
domination

Surrey Oct 28th/05
The
Marauders travelled
to Las Vegas and St George Utah from
Oct 7th to Oct 14th for 2 World Tournaments The First was
from Oct 7th to the 9th comprised of over 60 teams from all
over the USA and Canada. The tournament in Vegas was a lot
of fun with games against Hawaii Palm Springs Sacramento Arizona
and Maryland.We won 3 games and lost 2 and played in the Triple
AAA division were the competition is always tough as we found
out.

The
Marauders than travelled to St.George Utah for more games
this time playing in the Major Division. We won 3 round robin
games against Calgary Grey Power 17---1 than against Francom
Motors from Salt Lake City Utah
7---5 the 3rd game was against Chico
Merchants from California beating them 13---5 . By virtue
of these wins we were placed in the Major Division for the
2nd year in a row. We were asked to play an exhibition Game
against the 55+ major + team called the Rekers they were an
allstar team from 8 eastern states and they beat us 21---12
there were no small players on this team with there 1st baseman
hitting 3 over the fence homeruns against us, his other hit
was a stand up triple.They had
8 over the fence homers against us in total and we could only
hit 3 against them ,Dave Docksteader Ron Gass and Bob Butler
had homeruns for the Marauders.We than played our playoff
games and did not play up to previous games and lost first
to BRl from Salt Lake City than lost our final game against
Quicksilver from Medesto Califoria We enjoyed the trip but
felt we should have won a medal.
